Description
14k gold pocket watch with stones, Schonberger & Co., Vienna, 2" diameter. Approximately 123.47 grams TW (including movement). Engraved on back cover "PI" with crown above for King Peter I, King of Serbs, bottom engraved "To Alexander - 11th of June 1914". Alexander was King Peter's son who became Prince Regent of Serbia in June of 1914 and then King of Yugoslavia from 1921-1934. This is perhaps the best historical item of the Karadjordjevic dynasty.
